Re:Create in Lebanon offers community donated art & craft supplies at thrift store prices and hosts classes and events for all ages. They are providing open crafting for the community on First Friday starting at 5:30 p.m., but the night doesn’t end there. Electives, an instrumental trio from Lancaster playing a mix of rock, jazz, and Latin flavors will take the stage from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Check out RE:Create at 828 Cumberland Street (Rear), Lebanon, PA.
80s alternative rock band, Dream Syndicate, will visit Metropolis Collective in Mechanicsburg for a special Sunday show on April 7 at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.). The band reunited in 2012 and are currently working on a new album to be released in early May. Tickets are $20 and you can find Metropolis at 17 W Main St, Mechanicsburg, PA.

The Artisan Guitar Show comes to the Best Western Hotel and Conference Center in Harrisburg on April 12 to April 14. You can meet master guitar makers and play extraordinary handcrafted instruments. Guitar habitats and cases along with state of the art amplifiers will also be available. Additionally, the show features world-class players who will be performing a series of concerts and master classes. Weekend general admissions tickets start at $30. The Lancaster Barnstormers present Springfest! This is a family friendly event that includes an Easter egg hunt, bounce house bash & brain safety fair at Clipper Magazine Stadium in Lancaster on Sunday, April 14th with gates opening at noon. Admission is $5 for each child in advance and $10 at the gate, with parents entering for FREE. Concessions will be available and each paid ticket will include a voucher for an April or May Barnstormers home game.
Celebrate 4/20 at The Abbey Bar at Appalachian Brewing Company with Crippled But Free, a 6 piece electric ensemble of veteran Harrisburg area musicians playing tribute to the music of the Grateful Dead. The band features Mike Banks on lead guitar & vocals, Aaron Daniel Gaul on guitar & vocals, Fred Pellegrini on keyboards & vocals, Jeremy Pierce on bass, and Travis Warlow & Jim Aguzzi on drums. Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman is organizing a field trip to the Brooklyn Museum of Art on Saturday, April 27th to see Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving, the largest U.S. exhibition in ten years of the iconic painter. A charter bus will leave AC Moore in Lancaster at 7:00 a.m. and return at 9:00 p.m. There is a full cafeteria available for lunch and snacks.
